a sunset at la playa caleta.

a portion of our group on the beach.

on sunday morning, i woke up early to the bells of the church next door to the apartment. my madre española brought me a tray with coffee and treats into my bedroom, something which i have, unfortunately, grown accustomed to.

then we all went to the beach. this is la playa de santa maría, which we lounge at most often. it was packed. if you look closely enough, you may be able to see some naked old women breasts.

two more days of school, then done. i miss home, but i don't really want to leave spain. so if i don't, you shouldn't be surprised.
carmen, as for your question: i am not completely fluent, and i am afraid that i never will be. but i understand almost absolutely everything that i hear, and i can have an intelligent conversation over dinner with my madre, hold my own during transactions, and talk baby talk with our little pup, pancho.

i love going to playa santa maria with you, lets try to take a little of that home with us!
thanks for answering my question. i have had a constant headache for dos semanas trying to understand what people are saying, and i only understand approximately 30 percent of what is going on. ah. and each time someone asks me a question, i have to say,¨"¿otra vez, por favor?" then i have to ask melissa how to answer it.
i am glad to hear how wonderful your trip has been. you and anna both seem to have flourished abroad, and it makes me really happy and sort of emotional, too. i miss you both so much!
will you be posting durante tu viaje con sus padres?
adios, mi prima!
